When it comes to animals, Michael Biering has a very large soft spot. As a child, stray dogs would follow him home from school or the park. When Michael Biering visited friends with pets, he would end up hanging out with the animals rather than the people. As an adult, Michael Biering volunteers his time once a week at the local animal shelter. He helps care for the animals that are rescued and assists in the adoption process.
